Pole Dance Fitness Classes

Pole dance fitness uses the pole to its maximum potential as a versatile piece of fitness equipment. It works the whole body, improving muscle tone, flexibility, coordination, posture as well as upper body and core strength. You will be surprised to see the types of exercises you can do with a pole.

Pole dance fitness uses similar exercises you might do at the gym, but using your own body weight for resistance while having fun at the same time. That is why pole dance fitness is a total body workout.

At Vertical Secrets, our Pole classes incorporate the various aspects types of Pole Dancing which include, artistic, acrobatic, dance and exotic. Our classes are open and fun with a small group of people that are warm and welcoming, making exercise fun and enjoyable.

Level 1 - 6

Beginner Level 1 In this Level you are introduced to your new dance partner the POLE. You will learn basic spins, transitional moves and pole tricks such as climbing. You will build your strength and utilize your muscles while developing core and upper body strength.


Beginner Level 2 In this Level you will expand on what you have accomplished in Level 1. You will continue to learn more spins, transitional moves, pole climbing and sitting on the pole. As in the previous level, you will continue to improve your strength while feeling more confident about yourself.


Intermediate Level 3 In this Level you will learn to do more pole tricks and continue to build on what you have learned. Here is where you will be working on doing basic upside down moves and learn how to link moves together.


Intermediate Level 4 You will learn how to perfect your upside down moves while learning new demanding moves such hands free pole tricks and combination spin techniques.


Advance Level 5 - 6 These classes are designed for those students that have mastered all the Levels or have advance pole experience. In this class, students will continue to maintain their pole skills, strength while improving their endurance and flexibility.


There is no stripping involved in our pole dance fitness classes. Wear comfortable clothing that you can move freely in. For our pole dance fitness class, shorts are recommended. These classes are about improving your fitness, having fun and feeling great about your body, regardless of size, shape or age. You will not be required to do anything you feel uncomfortable about.
